Septic and sewerage waste disposal

VTG will perform maintenance and disposal of hazardous waste for all facets of septic and sewerage waste disposal including.

  • Septic tanks
  • Sewage pits
  • Portable toilets
  • Laundry pits
  • Grey water

Regular maintenance and proper care can significantly extend the lifespan of your septic system, saving you time, money, and headaches in the long run. VTG offers a range of services designed to keep your septic system in optimal condition.

Over time, sludge, debris, and other materials accumulate in your septic tank or cesspool, reducing the system’s efficiency. Regular pumping (de-sludging) by VTG will help prevent problems and ensure your system operates smoothly.

De-sludging requires a licensed liquid waste contractor to open the septic tanks and pump out the contents. The recommended frequency for de-sludging depends on the number of people contributing to the wastewater load: every eight years for a two-person household, every four years for a four-person household, and more frequently for larger households. It is also advisable to alternate drainage receptacles annually by opening the diverter box and adjusting the effluent flow handle to the appropriate position.

Our qualified technicians will assess your needs and recommend the best maintenance plan for your property. By considering factors such as tank size and household occupancy, we’ll create a customised maintenance schedule tailored to your requirements.

Neglecting your septic system can lead to various issues affecting the tank, drain fields, and your home, including:

  • Clogged pipes, drains, and plumbing blockages
  • Foul odours around your property
  • Sewage backups in your home or yard
  • Costly repairs or even complete system replacement

Industrial Wastewater and trade effluent

At VTG, we collaborate closely with clients across various sectors to provide safe industrial wastewater and trade effluent disposal services that comply with EPA regulations.

Industrial wastewater, trade effluents, and other liquid wastes are generated as a byproduct of processes such as cleaning, manufacturing, production, food processing, mining, and other industrial activities. Proper disposal is crucial, as these substances can pose risks to public health, the sewage system, and the environment.

Our qualified team will handle your industrial liquid waste collection and transport it to a licensed disposal facility. We are also licensed by the Environment Protection Agency for the transport and disposal of trade effluent.
